Bugger this lark

YES Bugger this lark, I really cant believe this "NO SMOKING" thing is becoming soooo difficult. It's now day 3 which I guess is good but I have a headache, sore throat and for some reason sensitive gums and my body feels all buzzy also seem to keep trying and clear my throat.
I took my patch off before i went to bed last night and boy I think that was a BIG mistake , so tonight it will be firmly staying on. I am very detirmined to succeed at this I know i can do it but it is very difficult. I want to shut myself away at the moment in fact just go to bed for a month and not wake up until I feel better but i know i cant so will have to just deal with this. Columbus who bought Tobacco to England in 1492 - i knew there was a reason i hated men in tights. I only hope those tights gave him chaffing and sores and boils - let it go Malks... NOOOO I cant, out with anger.
Nicotineangel is doing very very well and is soo supportive - we love you. Stick to it you can do it as well.
Si started on patches yesterday after a slow start and did really well all day yesterday.
Might go to boots (with my John and Jane book in hand) and see if there's anything else i can take.
Well thats me so far and the ramblings of a very unhappy man.............

Day 3 - This is NOT as easy as I was finding it last time I quit. I have no idea why it's not. Its also hard seeing others around me smoking which never used to bother me. Now it does big time. I know all this you can't smoke in enclosed spaces etc etc is supposed to help but it's not really, I know its habit etc but I really don't care. I WILL be honest and tell you right now, I WANT A CIGARARETTE. There you go I said it. I want one. Simple as that. I'll make no bones about it.
I hate this because it is making my best friend sad and not feeling well. I wish I could make all things better for us and take the magic pill and it will all be sorted.
Why did I start smoking again, 1 year and 6 months of not smoking, two weeks in a new job and wham there you go. Too easy.
So, on this note I am still going to keep at it but I really can't make any promises to be able to do this alas I shall give it a good go.

IT'S BLOODY HARD!
Positive thoughts my backside, I am trying and it's only day two! water, gum I'm gonna be like a camel, chewing constantly and holding in pee non stop! so now it's 1 litre of water per day to take away food cravings and oh how this nanny state winds me up!

Well Its started, Stopped on Sunday and already not finding it very easy so much in fact was in boots first thing Monday morning banging the door down and rushing to get patches. The lady behind counter (contrary to the adverts) was unhelpful to say the least, of course being a touch grumpy (can you blame me) barked at her as she didn't seem to get the urgency plus she seemed to have problems reading from the back of the several packets i trust at her - I think i might suggest that this store should maybe supply John and Jane's books (the older ones of you will now this classic learn to read English books) for our country cousins to read. Nicotine Angel has just got a supply of water,flavoured drinks and an assortment of chewing gum bless her. I think I might have to go and get a selection of pringles soon - god the pounds are going to pile on. Don't do Primark or static fibre shops but will need to source a reputable clothing store that sell trousers which have elastic waisted trouser (oh the thought - just filled up with a tear) AARRGGHHHHHH HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Well the quit day is approaching us fast and furiously....I shall be stubbing out my last ciggie at midnight on Saturday June 30th....I wish us all lots and lots of luck!

Well gang, it all starts soon - Sunday in fact. Yes we are going to give up on the ciggies AARRGGGHHHH. So good luck to us all. Jo Jo Tinkerbell, Trixy Trish and of course myself are going to use this blog as a self help counselling site - oh I hope it helps. Well girls start adding to this site from now.
